DELIVERIES

 

We aim to make and ship all orders either same business day they are placed, or next business day from Albury NSW. Same business day applies for orders placed during normal working hours (Monday to Friday, 8am to 4pm). For orders placed after 4pm or on weekends, the first/following business day is when the order will be processed, and that day is considered to be ‘same business day’.

 

AUSTRALIA – Free Standard Shipping applies to all orders Australia wide*, and Express shipping can be selected for an additional fee.

*Free shipping excludes Express shipping and Remote Locations. For a full list of post codes, please refer to the Remote Locations Post Codes tab located below.

 

NEW ZEALAND – All parcels being shipped to New Zealand are sent via Standard Shipping with Australia Post and will incur a $15.00 shipping fee.

 

Important Note: All pricing quoted on our website is in Australian Dollars (AUD), however once you select New Zealand as your shipping country, the GST will be removed from the cost of the item. Customs duties and taxes may be applicable – please refer to the Customs Duties & Taxes tab below for more information. If New Zealand has been selected during checkout, and you return to any product page to continue browsing, the pricing will remain GST free after this point.

Shipping Methods

Shipping Methods

We use the following shipping methods:

 

  • Standard Shipping (2 to 10 Business Days depending on your location): Standard orders will be sent via Australia Post . Please note, standard shipping is a basic service only – a signature is not required for delivery/collection and cannot be requested. If you require a signature upon delivery, you will need to opt for Express Shipping (Signature Required).

 

  • Express Shipping (Authority to Leave) & Express Shipping (Signature Required) (1-2 Business Days): Express orders will be sent via Star Track Premium service or TNT Overnight.

 

  • Standard Shipping NZ (3-7 Business days depending on location): Standard orders to New Zealand will be sent via Australia Post International Pack & Track – a tracking number will be provided.

Delivery Information & Tracking Details

Once your order has been shipped, you will receive a shipping notification via email complete with tracking details. You may track your order online at anytime using the link provided with your shipping notification, or by using the couriers online tracking service;

 

If you’re unable to located your tracking number or did not receive a shipping notification, please don’t hesitate to contact us directly by phoning (02) 6025 6765 or by emailing hello@personalisedchoppingboards.com.au.

 

If you are unable to receive your parcel in person and have provided Authority to Leave, the courier will do so only in the event that they deem there is a safe place for the parcel to be left. If there is no safe place to leave the parcel, an instruction card will be left by the courier and your order will be available for collection from your local Australia Post branch.

Standard Shipping within Australia is sent via Australia Post. Please refer to the below information as a guide only:

  • Melbourne: 3-4 business days
  • Sydney, Canberra, Brisbane & Adelaide: 3-4 business days
  • Newcastle & Wollongong: 4 business days
  • Hobart: 5-6 business days
  • Perth: 5-6 business days
  • Darwin: 6-8 business days

 

Regional/Country

  • Victoria, New South Wales & ACT: 3-4 business days
  • South Australia: 3-5 business days
  • Queensland: 3-7 business days
  • Northern Territory: 6-8 business days
  • Tasmania: 6-8 business days
  • Western Australia: 7-9 business days

 

Important Note: Some very remote locations (i.e. middle of WA or NT, cattle stations, etc) can exceed the above delivery guide, upwards of 14-15 business days delivery. If you are in a remote location (you will be advised of a remote location charge during checkout) and require your order for a particular date, we highly recommend selecting Express shipping.

Estimated Delivery Time: Express Shipping (AUS)

90% of locations within Australia are 1-2 business days delivery with Star Track Express. Some locations such as far north destinations in Western Australia, may be 3 business days delivery with Express shipping. If you require your order by a certain date and you are located within one of our remote location post codes (listed below), please contact us for an ETA prior to ordering.

Estimated Delivery Time: Standard Shipping (NZ)

Regardless of your location within New Zealand, the estimated delivery time with standard shipping is 3-7 business days. Orders are sent via Australia Post, which are then handed onto New Zealand Post for final destination delivery.

Estimated Delivery Time: Express Shipping (NZ)

Unfortunately, at this time we are unable to offer a faster Express service for New Zealand deliveries. Standard shipping times are 3-7 business days.

Customs Duties & Taxes (NZ Orders)

Orders shipped to New Zealand will be exclusive of GST, but may be subject to import duties and taxes. If any duties or taxes are applicable, these will be levied once the parcel reaches customs in New Zealand. These fees are the responsibility of the purchaser and are separate from the cost of shipping charged and from the price of the item which has been ordered.

 

As the exporter of the goods purchased, we are required by law to delcare the full value of the goods being shipped. We cannot (and will not) falsify details on any customs form and will provide an accurate description of the goods in all such sales.

 

Please check with your customs office to determine if there will be any additional fees relating to your purchase, and what these fees may be.

Parcels Returned to Sender (Incorrect or Incomplete Addresses)

Labels for your parcel are generated automatically by our labelling system, and are not manually checked by our staff. It is the responsibility of the customer to ensure that the address details provided are clear, correct and complete, and should be checked both prior to submitting your order, as well as on your order confirmation email.

 

Incorrect or incomplete addresses (i.e. missing the house number), or failure to collect your parcel in time from the post office, will result in your parcel being returned to sender. A Return to Sender fee of $10.00, as well as a Redelivery fee (calculated at cost) will be required to be paid prior to your parcel being shipped again. You will be notified of the amount via email with a link for payment.

 

Should you notice an error with the address provided on your order, please contact us immediately via email (hello@personalisedchoppingboards.com.au) with changes, however please note that once a parcel has been shipped and collected by the courier, we are unable to make any changes to the address details.

Authority to Leave vs. Signature Required

By choosing the Express Shipping (Authority to Leave) option, you are providing the courier with your authority to leave the parcel on site if no one will be home to receive it. Should you wish to proceed with this option, please state in the Order Notes section during checkout where you would like the parcel to be left.

 

The Express Shipping (Signature Required) option means that if no one will be home to receive the parcel, it will either be delivered to your local post office for collection, or alternatively a card will be left to organise a re-delivery with the courier for a day you will be home.

Remote Location Post Codes

Remote Locations will incur a Remote Location Standard Shipping charge of $10.00. You may also opt for Express shipping for $20.00 however this is an Authority to Leave service only. These post codes include:
